In addition to the standard features and options for the CP-701, Camplex now offers an HD/SD SDI option using a single mode fiber combined with the coax cable. For cameras equipped with either SMPTE 292 HD or SMPTE 259 SD, a single BNC cable brings the SDI output from the camera to the Camplex camera adapter. Inside the camera adapter the signal is converted to light via a laser diode, travels the length of the fiber and is converted back to an electronic signal via a photo diode at the control end.
There is filely no signal degradation or lag incurred in this process. At the control end Camplex provides two SDI /BNC outputs for connecting to a switcher and monitor. Camplex has worked closely with the cable manufacturer to provide a hybrid cable that mates the coax and fiber into one clean rugged package. Camplex continues to provide innovation in motion by offering high performance low cost solutions for today's challenges.
• HD-SDI-71 added to the CP-701 allows the camera HD-SDI or SD-SDI output converted to single mode fiber transmission.
• Meets or exceeds SMTPE 259M SD, and
292M HD standards.
• HD-SDI-71 option requires a single mode
fiber cable in addition to the coax required
for the CP-701 system.
• HD-SDI-71 can also be added to the
previous Camplex model CP-601 (factory upgrade only).
